This is a project that I was involved with from the early stages until I moved to Ft. Leavenworth, KS last summer.

The Capital Land Cruiser Club (CLCC) is a Virginia/Maryland/Washington D.C. chapter of TLCA. In the Autumn of 2010, Mark Algazy (Mark's Off Road in Burbank, CA) donated a partial '77 FJ40 to the TLCA for the purpose of some chapter club to take it and build a raffle truck to benefit the TLCA.

Long story short, 3-1/2 years later, the truck is completed and will be raffled at the Bay to Blue Ridge Cruisers' annual Fall Crawl event in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia this October.

Proceeds benefit the Fisher House Foundation, the Blue Ribbon Coalition, TLCA, and CLCC. Tickets are $20 each, and a maximum of 2,000 are to be sold. According to the CLCC President, this truck will be transported to any address in the lower 48 by none other than Woody (owner, IH8MUD.com).

update AS OF 11 SEPTEMBER 2014:

I just got a PM from Stumpalama (president of Capital Land Cruiser Club).

Stump said that online sales are ended. Capital Land Cruiser Club has sold 1952 of the total 2000 tickets!

They are taking the remaining 48 tickets for sale at the Bay To Blue Ridge Cruisers' "FALL CRAWL" event where the truck will be raffled in October.

If my math is correct, this will net an $18,000 donation to Fisher House Charities, $10,000 to Blue Ribbon Coalition, $8,000 to Toyota Land Cruiser Association (TLCA), and $4,000 to the Capital Land Cruiser Club.
