I got my foot heaters made up today. The muffler is a tight fit, but everything does fit, so it works, I guess. I have 200ft of titanium exhaust wrap that will go on here once it is fully finished and my headers are ceramic coated.

I have the space and angle to make up a pair of sliders, so it will all eventually be skidded up.

Tucked up nicely.

Other side done.

Twins! I'm not sure how I am going to trim the ends to look nice, but it will just have to wait till I decide.

I got all of my brake line parts and fuel line parts ordered today, and they will be here monday. Summit 2 day shipping is great. I have all the aluminum for the tank, and I will be bending that up on Tuesday.

It is set at about 6°, I may go up to 7°. I'm thinking the same thing with the panhard. The upper mount is being a massive pain to get it to clear the axle, tierod, and upper link mount. If I only had another inch....
I have 7.5 and it is perfect with 37" tires. 95 mph and hands off steering wheel, although that was a one time deal. It drives great. I would shoot for 6 min, but your call.

Good to know. I'm not sure if I'm going to make 95 with this setup, but I've heard that the bigger tires really like a lot caster a bunch, and I have the ability to adjust it, so why not.

I had my exhaust out the driver's side on my truck and the diesel fumes were unbearable haha

It didn't make it out of the driveway for me! Too smelly

Hopefully yours isn't as stinky as mine was.

As for the exhaust wrap- I personally would avoid it. Along with the ceramic coating. Heat sheilds are many times more effective. I have had the opportunity to test all the options you can imagine in a laboratory type environment and I can tell you with certainty that you're wasting your time.

Besides that wrap is ****ing itchy as hell and gets ugly quick

If you can built heat shields with air gaps you will cut down on the heat transfer in a major way.

Is there room for that in your setup?

Looks to be coming along great!

Mike

Lots of updates, I've just been lazy about posting.

Driveshafts are built and installed. The rear one looks really funny.

There's some flexible sections of that fuel line correct?

Looking great man!

Yep! It ends right at the frame rail and will turn into soft line for a filter and stuff.

Have you tested your rear driveshaft at full droop?

Your fuel tank is inspiring! It looks great. Do you still have a sump and/or baffles for the pick-up? What are you using for a fuel-pump and pick-up?

I have an external high pressure fuel pump (Bosch 044) mounted on the bottom of the floor behind the t-case and its loud. but I was hesitant to have the in-tank pump plumbed in the cab as a leak with 60PSI fuel could be pretty exciting for the occupants.

There is a reason I have 4" rear shackles . I still have about 12" of travel in the rear though, so I'm not worried. The driveshaft does work, though. I'm using a Holley retrofit In-tank fuel pump with 15" of Holley Hydramat to keep me from running the pump dry. The tank is going to have a metric sh1ton of baffles to try and keep fuel around the pickup. I agree with the high-pressue fuel in the cab, but I don't really want to deal with an external fuel pump.

I built my brake system and it is bled 100%, so this thing is about ready to run.

Rear light housings installed.

I filled my axles, transmission, toybox, and transfer case with oil. I h8 gear oil.

I also got my mirrors installed as well. So close!

At this point, I need to hook up my radiator, battery, fully install my vintage air, make heater an a/c lines, power steering lines, install my fuel tank once it is done, plumb the fuel system, final install headers and exhaust, air compressor, and probably a few other small things I am forgetting. I'm hoping to be running next week.

Dual batteries for the rear. I got a really big deep cycle to run all my accessories and winches (front and rear)

Battery isolator is ordered, just waiting on it to arrive.

Acc. Battery busbars mounted. One is switched ignition power, the other is always hot.

Power run to the relay box.

In other news, I had my interview with Proffits Resurrection today, and currently have a job offer from them for a summer position, and I'm really excited about that.

Lots more wires made, few pictures. All my major grounds are run, and I have been confirming functionality of all my wiring. Everything seems to be working.

I also got my phone mount installed to use up the last little hole in my dash.

Slowly creeping closer to running.

Fuel tank is almost finished as well.
