1976 FJ40 caliper brake line question (1 Viewer)

I am rebuilding the front end including new brake lines ect. My question is doe the rubber brake line that screw into the brake valve that is attached to the backing plate need a copper? The brake lines I purchased did not come with a copper washer so I am a little confused.

Also a follow up question. What length is the bolt that bolts on the calipers to the knuckle?
