So when the FJ43 was being build back together, first the FJ40 1976 Restoration and 2 weeks later also the Frame-Off FJ40 FST 1984 with 3/4 tub replacement were now brought in at the body shop

When the 76 was bought, it was especially interesting because it was a driveable "old nose" , still a 2F, the steel of these year is thicker and better of composition then the later ones.

What was that a disaster !, we started taking away bit by bit and it got worse and worse

In the end it would have to be better to do a 1/2 new tub, but once you started it difficult to accept that, ooh well
