I've been spending the last month piddling around, slowly fixing a burnt exhaust valve.

Just as I get it running today, I discover this:

Are. You. Kidding. Me.

The clutch master has started leaking out the back, literally overnight.

So, I have found what I "think" is the correct replacement here:

Part # 018-01D

I am wondering if a) this is the right part/best solution, b) what are the chances that the bottom cylinder also needs replaced, and c) is there a kit available where I replace the whole shebang?

Thanks!

I would see if cityracer has it, likely cheaper and better shipping. Not a bad idea to replace the slave cylinder at the same time. Maybe the hose while you’re in there.

X2 on replacing all the above parts, master, slave and hose

I did a Google search and found Aisin brand master and slave cylinders at Partsgeek, and an FJ55 specific hose which is a repro. I've never done business with them before, but figure $100 is worth taking the chance.
Part #W0133-1624463
I don't know if FJ40 and FJ55 hoses are different, but I'm a sucker when a parts source lists "FJ55" as an option.

I ordered mine from rock auto. All aisin stuff except the hose was a "centric". There's a discount code to use in the vendors section. It was also for a 1975 fj55.
