I might turn then little cart it’s on into a yuge welding table / bench

Welp, as I ... anticipated? Pua'a is stalled.

Bodyshop guy called this morning, has been dealing with a bad infection behind his knee. Bad enough they lifted the kneecap to drain it, and now he's immobile.
So the darn thing is stalled, and has been for a while.

Who said, "bodyshops are where projects go to die?" Whomever it was, ... prophetic.

Plenty of rigs with more miles on this forum than on roads or trails.

He’s back to work on it. Got these when I landed in Baltimore.

Got the rocker in finally. Had to cut all the patch panels I put in but it’s where it specs out at. Building a couple supports that we’re rusted out, weld them in them will finish cutting the floor out.

This is an expensive hobby y’all have. 😜

In Baltimore to (probably) pick up the lx450 (now with a 1hd-fte / h151. Made 323 whp / 550 ft-lbs on the dyno. Hope to drive it back to Texas.

If you end up driving back and are on i40 in TN, let me know. Be delighted to host you for a meal or break from driving. I’m about halfway between Nashville and Memphis on I40 in Jackson, TN.
I’m likely going that way. Have an employee in Cookeville who’s offered to put me up.
