Wanted 1974 Motor Rebuild Parts (1 Viewer)

Dropped my block (F.5?)and head off at the machine shop and they said I need to find these parts. Cast # on block F 567028
-30 over pistons / rings
-30 under rod bearings
-10 under main bearings
-lifters
-cam
-Timing set
-Gasket set

For the head I’m looking for new intake and exhaust valves and springs.
Cast # on head 60051

I think it’s an F.5 being a 1974 but not sure how to tell. Does it matter?

Mix of OEM & Japanese manufatures (NOK, same as OE). I.e. 1pc oil pan gasket vs the 4pc ITM stuff.

this is all DETROIT brand name garbage that GM , FORD and MOPAR utilize ,


NONE of it is made in JAPAN ....
i would NOT go near these parts , and it may pan out nobody has used them because of just this and that ?

choose wisely here ,
SOR.com should still offer a ALL JAPAN parts engine parts at some level

you get what you pay for here

Not personally but many customers have over they years. Clegg doesn't assemble the kit, they source it from another local vintage engine supply outfit that's been at it for many years (decades). Most have had luck mixing/matching additional parts in the kits to cover their needs.

I would have preferred to have all OEM, but seemed impossible to source all the parts for my F.5.
