1974 FJ40 front knuckle seal

Rebuilding the front knuckles on my 74 FJ40

There is an outer dust shield/retainer (43402) that I need, but everywhere I look it just shows “Discontinued”.

Can you use a seal from a later axle like

90313-93011-J4​

You need the actual metal ring? Guessing yours got tossed in the rebuild process?

Later ones cannot be used, wrong dimensions.

We do have use retainers.

I have the metal ring. Just looking for the (I think) felt that goes inside the groove on the metal ring
