Custom 4x4 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 - Fully Restored Custom built

This is a one of one. You wont find another FJ55 Iron Pig like it.

Every where I take this truck people come up to me to talk about it.

My buy it now price is half of the cost to build a rig like this.

Before I go through the long list of all the work that has been done to this rig let me do a short overview.

6800 miles since full restoration. New built Chevy 383 Stoker, New NV4500 5 speed manual transmission, New drive line, New suspension, New disc brakes all around, New power steering, power brakes. New Orion Transfer case, New Center force Clutch, New ARB rear air locking differential system, New 33" Bridgestone Dueler Mud/Snow Tires, New interior, New Rubber/weatherstrip, Rubber urethane lined floor boards, under carriage, engine bay. All body work was professionally done using very little filler until the final panel blocking. No rust anywhere on this vehicle. No fiberglass panels (All Metal). Very straight for a Land Cruiser. All the doors close correctly, the rear power window works from the switch at the dash. Extremely durable, Extremely fun to drive all around fantastic 4x4. Very comfortable to drive long distances. Truck is ready to go, everything works. Classic Hugger Orange with VHT Satin Black Trim, stock Toyota off white are the colors. Truck was built to be bullet proof and to take on anything. LED Lights to top it off light up the desert sky. You can drive this truck anywhere and take it across the country right now. Clean Clear title in hand, Registration fees just paid, truck has just been serviced. Ready to go

Here is a list of the work that has been done to the drive line and suspension:
Chevy 383 Stoker Engine - Engine produces about 450 horse power
Crane high torque camshaft

Hushmaster Flowmaster mufflers keep the exhaust sound perfect and keeps it somewhat quiet inside the cab. With a excellent Low rumble outside.

The engine bay blower switch is mounted in the glove compartment.

Full PVC Leather custom Racing seats extremely comfortable. With sliders.
Crown 4 point racing seat belts.
Rear Seat has stock Toyota seat belts.
Custom Autometer Gauges installed at the time the new engine was installed so the odometer reads the exact mileage of the engine. All gauges work correctly.
Interior has been completely done headliner, rear seat upholstery, door panels.
Tuff box center locking console with a hidden Kenwood stereo deck. Speaker box was removed for pictures, but you can set up any speaker setup you want really easy.
Floors, engine compartment, under carriage all shot with rubber urethane
custom heat shield above the back of the engine and transmission keeps all heat out of the cab.

Windows were removed for paint, new rubber seals on the front windshield and rear cargo glass seals are new as well. New door seals.

Rear seat folds down for extra storage in rear compartment."

Haven’t we seen this before?

I’m taking comfort in the fact that the current bid on this thing is $31,000 and the reserve hasn’t been met.

So there was a build thread on this rig here on Mud somewhere?
