1972 FJ40 trying to identify electrical connection (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me what this connection is? The wire came off the small connector and I am curious as to what this is. The wire comes out of the dash through the firewall and the connector sits atop a bolt(?) on top of the engine block. Also, can anyone tell me what is capped off right next to this? It’s a 9/71 1F original engine. Thanks for any help.
