Getting this baby ready for transit.

Pro tip: spend the money for a good crate, package it well, support the crap out of it. Don’t dick around with bad packaging/crating.

That’s a fine looking box right there. Thanks for the extra care. That’s some precious cargo.

I’m digging around in the CB FSTs bottom today.

Couple of snapped bolts. These Milwaukee tap bits are perfect for thick stuff like the frame

All tidied up on the drivers side

We gave a passing thought to leaving the stock tire carrier on this one but it had already bent the tailgate on the trailer trip to Mississippi so it’s a goner.

That said, I really wanted to see if I could use the passenger side bumper on this one with the older tail lights.

It’s close but not without some modifications.

Perfect job for The Wizard

Finished product.

I’ll bolt it on tomorrow after I have the fun of drilling the 4 holes for the 4 Plus carrier in the frame. Too pooped to deal with that today

Swapping in a non ABS 80 master and early 40 clutch master. The Toyota SST makes for the perfect match. These two share the same cap size which I have a bad ass billet adapter for my Motive Bleeder so this is my favorite combo.

Also got the column tube installed on the steering shaft and box. I don’t know how Gabe got that tube off.

Oh and the H42/split landed at @orangefj45 ‘s shop.

Thanks Beno and Johnny for parting ways with that beautiful 2F

Man, what a day. This was a logistics day. I barely broke a sweat but I was all over the PB FST

I sold the 33x10.50s and the new owner messaged me he was on the way so I had to swap out the tires while he was driving up

I also got boxes from @cruiseroutfit, SOR and Cruiser Corps unpacked and sorted

Finally my big load of Powder was finished at the last minute before the long weekend so I have plenty to do

I planned on getting the steering in the truck today to move it but I ended up waiting on a late part to drop so I did other things.

@daniel.watters came over and picked up the OME I took out of Seminole and I loaded him up with random stuff I had here that I hope he can use.

I ended up rebuilding the fan blower first. The SOR gasket kit was cheesy. Only used the foam for the flap out of the kit

I’ve never dug this deep in one of these. Turned out great.

Next I put the heater box back together with the SOR kit which is basically just foam and some bolts. New heater core.

I got the bushings and rubber stops from SOR while I was ordering some other stuff. Pedal bucket is ready to reinstall. Gotta take the booster and master back off. Duh.

Love the bumerette mod to keep the symmetry. I think its the first time ive seen it done? It’s likely not first time done, but i think its a great look nonetheless!

It’s funny, I’ve always kinda liked the asymmetric look with one bumpstop. That said I really wanted to try this look.

It’s not bad on this frame but I was looking at the 74 here and it would not be as simple as this. The 4Plus passenger mount is right on the bolt holes on the later rectangle light frame so something would have to be really modified.
