Who does the steering wheel restoration?
Inquiring minds what to know.
I’m thinking we would make a good team Nolen. I will do the metal work and paint, and you could finish them. Plus an extra set of eyes will help me not make silly mistakes like forgetting to fix antenna holes before painting. We could be dangerous!Got home and sent Beno some measurements for the Mosley special 2F cradle. These things are amazingly sturdy

Then I got busy cleaning up and POR15ing some of the items I can’t have powder coated
Top of the blower was a crust fest so I wire wheeled and sanded it smooth

The other item I did not want to fully disassemble was the steering tube. The rubber end piece and the NLA 72 blinker assembly were both very very tight and I did not want to risk messing either of them up

I want the steering in before I move it to the main shop because that’s a lot of steering with 2 people pushing the wheels. I don’t want to wreck this beauty

That’s nice. I’m just leaving the one in this one. It’s tight and beautiful. The OG truck reportedly only had 40,000 miles. That’s driving a few decisions.NLA parts suck to deal with. View attachment 3045435
The bushings for the pedals were available the last time that I checked.
You have no idea how nice that truck will be! My FJ25 quality on that build.I’d really like a nice 45 LPB…..
