1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 | eBay

Auction Priced with Reserve

Quote from Listing:
"Bought this vehicle from the last owner while I was attending school in Santa Barbara, CA. in the late 1990s. Former owner stated he purchased it from an Engineer working at Vandenberg AFB in the Santa Barbara vicinity. Blew original Toyota F engine that came with the truck coming home from school graduation. Replaced with Toyota F Engine from JT Outfitters (Original mileage on chassis unknown as odometer is only 5 characters; assuming over 200K on the chassis and 32,427 on the replaced engine for total of 232,427). Was daily driver for about 3 years, then garaged for 10, now been sitting outside for 4 years.
Vehicle is ran (and moved) each month but not driven on the street as brakes need to be re-done and license has lapsed with DMV.
Fairly clean, complete vehicle with rust in the usual places (rear quarter panels, bottom of tail gate, floor boards, drivers and passenger side doors, roof gutters, and some various spots on the hood).
Rear window functions, rear window rubber complete, headliner is good. Needs work on brakes, hinge on drivers side door, drivers window register and handle, speedometer, gas gauge, and some trim is missing in the form of a name plaque and marker reflectors. Was hoping to do a full body off restoration but divorce and job loss made that notion an impossibility.
Hoping to find it a good home fast and pay off some mounting bills.
Buyer responsible for shipping and or on site pick up logistics and costs. (Surfboards and gas can in photos do not come with the vehicle)"
