I have been working on getting the rear seats mounted. I had to move them inboard because of the roll bar. The original rubber bumpers ar useless now, so i modified the hinges to incorporate a stop. I also beefed up the seat bottom with 1/2" square stock to keep it from bending and built longer, beefier supports to the side of the bed.

I'm sitting in a computer class right now, and instead of paying attention I have been reading this thread (well let's be honest, I can't read, I was just looking at the pictures). As I viewed every picture I said 'YES!' in my head, just as a sports junky would cheer their team as they scored. So great.

I want to apologize to those of you who have been following this thread for not keeping it up to date. I have been focusing on getting it finished, and really wasn't taking any photos along the way. It turned out nicer than I ever imagined in the beginning, and enjoyed building it more than any of my previous projects.

for sale!

curious how it ends up... i'm hoping mind ends up as nice as yours when i'm done...

Zags,
If possible, I would do 2 things in your post on ebay.

1. Make the font slightly larger. It is a good description, but the font size makes it hard to read. If you don't know how to do that, PM me and I'll email you the instructions.

2. I would, put the link to this thread into the eBay listing *if you are able to do that.* I saw recently something about them stopping outside links.

3. (ok, I said 2 but): Add the absolute limit on photos and then, if you can indeed still post external links, put up a link to an external photo website (like flickr.com) and put up as many pictures as you can stand. The more photos and description (this thread), the more people are going to understand how many thousands of hours of work you've put into your project.

It is a beautiful and highly detailed restoration. You should get the full value out of it.

Best of luck, and thanks for the benefit you've given all of us by taking the time to document the build.

Vae
