Hello,

I received a hardtop from the seller of my 1970 FJ40. Overall, the top is in good condition, but the 'lip panels' are rusted out on both the left and right panels. Is anyone aware of a someone selling aftermarket 'lip panels' that can be welded to the top? See pics for reference. I believe the pieces I am referencing as 'iip panels' are indeed called that. See pics for reference.

I just did that repair on one side panel - wasn't that much fun for a novice body guy. I found a donor side to fix mine - cut out what I needed and welded in place. If you can track down some better side panels I'd go that route. Just depends on your capabilities and how much your time is worth. Or how much you're willing to spend...

Not aware of replacement... I've always just found better sides or sides to cut pieces of.
