It has a 2F with an aftermarket carb. Can you help me figure what type it is and the CFM?

Thanks 2fpower. I reached out to Trollhole. I hope it is one of his.
I haven't been able to reach the PO about it.

there were chinese knockoff carbs on amazon not too long ago for $100.. might be one of these. I only read about them a little bit. I don't own anything with a carb.

It could be but I think it was put on the engine about 5 years ago.

Here are some other pictures of the engine bay, Passenger side.

You forgot the guy that brought that thing to kc from hays ks

I believe you have an actual tornado cruiser. Story was the guy I got it from was totally frustrated when a tornado took out the storage unit and his motor. Roll bar was bent from the tornado as well. He gave up on it and called me. Took my FZJ 80 out and purchased and towed it back to KC. Guessing that was around 1999 or so.

Thank you for bringing it, and .........

No SH!T ? Dam. She looks great considering. One of the POs must have done a bunch of work on it.

Thanks FZJ80 in KC for the links. I'm still searching for the exact carb that is on it. Situation with the carb really isn't the carb, but the air box a PO put on it. It is an after market box designed for a Dodge pick up. You have to remove the squirrel cage inside the engine bay for the mounting bracket of the air box. Call me a wimp but I'd prefer heat over a cool air box.

Game plan moving forward: I thing i'm going to enjoy it this summer. Learn how it acts and drives before any modifications or major overhauls. To get it to road worthy I need to:
1. Register. This might be the hardest thing to get done because there is on title.
2. Get it consistently starting (mainly due to battery). Maintain an idle RPM. I picked up a can of carb cleaner and starting fluid today. I also mixed Stay-bil and Sea Foam into a 5 gallon can ready to go when I get some time.
3. Steering is not quite right IAW Mr. Butler. I'll need to go through it and make sure things are top dead center before reconnecting. It does have PS. The box is above the DVR frame rail. After that I'll take it to an alignment shop, if needed.
4. License it.
5. Enjoy for the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2019.
6. Figure out what to do next.

Just for S&Gs

Yeah! Haven't heard anything back from MO on this yet.

From what I can find, I'm 99% sure I have a 1/75-8/87 carb, or very close to that. Still having issues getting it to consistently run at idle. I can pour gas down it's throat and it will fire and run for a short time. Figured the carb needed cleaned out so I tore the carb apart, cleaned it and put it back together this weekend. It did help some, but it is still having issues. It seamed to do better when I kept the choke closed. I had to do that manually because the choke cable is locked up (another issue to address later). I think I did too much damage to the gaskets during the tear down so I ordered a gasket kit tonight.
Moving forward on the carb, I plan to soak it is Berryman's B12 for a few days. I'm also looking for suggestion or where to find brushes to clean out the hard to reach places within the carb. If and when I get the carb back together, I may need some help getting it tuned up.

Well. It is together. I'll be getting it on the engine sometime this week to see what happens.

I haven't gotten the carb back on the engine yet. When I do, are there any tips or tricks to dialing one in? Is there a particular configuration of set screws / valves / whatever I should have set to start from?

standard starting point on the mixture screws is 2 1/2 out from seat
This one? Got it set.
I have to go to run to Tulsa this weekend so this has been postponed, again, to next week.

I haven't had a chance to get the carb on. Wife had me setting tile in a 1/2 bath this weekend. Earlier this week I did find a set of wheels and tires. They fit great!!! 275/70/17
