Have you driven that Australian 5 speed ? Most are totally hammered and need to be rebuilt.
I buy mine new and rebuilt with a used case from Georg. I have one coming and it was about $4500 shipped. Add $300 for the longer shifter for Tcase. I also will get new Tom Woods shafts. That’s about $800.
Clutch $225.
It will be less than $7500 but if I was charging a customer for the labor it would be about $2000 so there is the number I was talking about.
Add a 4.11 diff swap and you can add another $2000-3000 in parts and labor depending on how much stuff I replace
