I will be shipping this ‘64 from Japan to Las Vegas and hope to get her into an auction. Any suggestions on where to take it?

I don’t think that’s a 1964.....69 or newer based on turn signals and side marker lights on aprons.

Looks to be a nice rig however.

Actually, I have a 1969 and this one is probably 1970 + from the apron side marker lights.

Nice looking rig. I am also suspicious of this being a 1964. Turn signals, reverse light, chrome grill., windshield frame, etc. What's the frame number?

As for auction recommendations...BAT seems to be getting good results for sellers with patina rigs.

Going by US market the tail lights, rear reflectors besides the reverse light are wroNg. Besides not having these rear emblems in 64 the placement is wrong. Higher than should be. Hood pads are wrongs. Running boards are aftermarket. Correct would be flat metal with a trim ring. Would have a white rubber pad with a diamond pattern. Wheels are obviously way to are not any 40 series. Not sure if JDM has hub caps but for a 64 would want correct wheels with early hub caps. Personality would not have picked a early FJ40 to import and resell. Would have searched for a BJ46 83/84 with a H55F. I would have no interest in a early RHD FJ40. Have plenty of FJ40s in LHD. Only thing of interest is the two piece ambulance doors.
