what is this for (circled for easy identification), other side broke off

They’re to hold parts H and K up and out of the way in the attached pic when not being used to hold the bi-fold door up and away when it’s opened. There should be one on both sides.

You can see one in this pic along with part H (or K). These just rotate around when not hooked on to the door and clip in place do they don’t rattle .

Thank you for the information, and the picture, I figured it had something to do with the bifold.
