I bought some RW's a year or so ago, and haven't been happy with them. The PO made some permanent mods that I don't care for, but the deal was too good to pass up. I'd like to find another set of 17's that aren't super expensive that way I can keep my tires.

What permanent mods did they make?

Love my Rock Warriors. A strong and light wt wheel (24lbs) that look great. Added to my C range 285/70/17 BFG KO 2's (52 lbs) i end up with the same wt as the stock wheels and tires but so much better traction and a beefier look.

Crazy about my RWs. I’ve even bought a few extra sets for some other projects. I’d be open to buy another set if you’re ready to get rid of them.

If you decide to sale the rock warriors let me know. I live in Irvine and have been wanting to pick up a set.

The PO cerakoted the trim rings black, but only on 4 of the 5 wheels, the 5th he left chrome. He also sealed all the bolts for the trim rings with locktite I'm guessing as they do not come off. The wheel with the chrome trim ring is fine so I can remove it to get it cerakoted to match when I find a place. I use it for the spare. I agree, they are great wheels, just wished I would have found a more stock set. I run K02's as well.

Have you tried an impact driver with a fresh torx bit (T30, I think)? This has worked for me on almost all of the ones I have had to remove. Although a long breaker bar was used on one, when my little 12v Bosch wouldn't cut it. I think my 24v Makita worked fine for all on another set. Just some ideas to get it free so you can make them look exactly as you would like. Otherwise, you will have a line of people willing to take them off your hands, it appears.

Have you tried PB blaster on the bolts for the trim rings? Cerakote is pretty damn tough, and a little PB blaster or other similar type of lubricant might help.
