16" Wheels on a '78 40? (2 Viewers)

I have some good 285/75R16's (same as 33x11.50) I want to put on my 40 for the winter because they do better in the deep snow than my MT's. What backspacing do I need?

probably the same 3.5" as works with 15" wheels for most tires. Less than that would be OK.

80 series wheels fit with a 1/4" spacer on the front.
