Who make a nice one piece/solid 16"steel wheel which I can have 33X10.5 BFG's A/Ts or M/Ts installed on?
Will I need to have them back spaced? What does that mean anyway?
Or will I need to stay with a 15" wheel because BFG might not make a 33X10.5 or 11.5X16?

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

i was about to recommend stockton wheels but they are now out of business, wtf?
the stock 70/60 series 16" wheels battlewagon mentioned are really nice, and is of very high quality.
I am running toyota splitrims, and i really like the look.

the tiresizes you mentioned only come in 15" configuration afaik.
Then you have the really nice 40 series rim that wyomingben is running

Actually 285/75/R16 is close to 33x11.5x16. It is a common size and you'll have a lot of tire choices compared to 33x10.5x15, which I believe you have only two and they're both BFG.

I really like the look of tall and narrow tires on these wagons. They grey wheels on the red wagon are toyota spilt rims? Where would be a good place to find those?

I run the stock Toyota Black Steelie wheels on all my cruiser with aluminum spacers. They are strong and you can find them for about $25.00 each on craigslist.

Wasabi from the mudsite just started the SOA this week hence the dropped rear driveshaft. The next picture wil show my drive shaft up.

Great pics, thanks. I really like the look of the larger wheels/tires on the Cruisers.
In about a week I'll be having my OME 2.5" HD springs rearched, 1 AAL installed in each corner, and the MAF 7" shackles installed. So a larger tire would look better as I'll be getting another 3" out of my springs.

I too like the look of a taller thinner tire. Can I get that look on a 16" wheel? And do I need back spacing? Can some one explain to me what back spacing is? I think it has to do with centering the wheel in the wheel well. Or would I only need this if I ran 35s. I only swaping out my 32s for 33s and no bigger.

Chitown40: I don't mind BFG as they are what I've been running BFG A/Ts since 2004. Not sure that if I stay with BFG I'll run A/T or M/T. Speaking of M/T. How much louder are they andmuch do they effect Gas Mileage?

Hidesert: When you stated stock wheels. Where they OME 16" or 15" in depicted on that red cruiser?

HDs, AAL and that big shackle might produce a nasty shackle angle and rough ride. 33's should fit without the shackle, I'd throw the new meats on first then decide if you need a taller shackle.

stock is 3.75", so don't buy a rim with more.

Here is what mine currently looks like:
I've got some sag as you can see as I'm running a heavy 4x4 labs rear bumper with dual swing arms, the INTI rack and I've sprayed the roof with Durabak. Oh, I forgot to mention the SROR sliders.

That's a lot of weight.

BW, I want the extra ride hight with out installing the SO. I don't think I'll mind the rougher ride, but then again maybe I will. I already purchased the AAL and the shackles which I can always remove if I don't like the out come.

I do appr your input as that's what mud is all about. Thank you

Britklr: I like it, but I think I'd like black instead. Would you happen to know where I could get such a wheel?
Is that the "camping Lab" roof rack?
I almost bought one however I really liked the ability to raise and lower my side rails and carry 7 fuel cans across the front. Very nice rig......

The OEM wheels come in a black primer and available from your friendly local Toyota parts guy.

The RR is homemade. I built it for the RRT and awning. The awning attaches via small receiver hitches so that it can be easily removed. I also built it without side rail so that it would still fit in my garage without the RRT on it.

Good luck!

<QUOTE>The second pic is the same wheel widened to 15x8.</QUOTE>

awww, I really wish that there were still shops that would widen steel wheels for a reasonable
price- I have a lot of love for that look...
