I’ve had some steel rims lying around for a while originally I thought they were 16”. I pulled them off the shelf today to start installing clips for hub caps and noticed they are stamped 15”.... my question I was hoping someone could answer is where am I measuring from to get 15” diameter? Obviously if they are stamped 15” they are a 15” rim but I’d just like to know where to measure from in the future in case a wheel is not stamped.
Thanks

Measure the inside of the wheel where the tire bead will sit. That would be where your 1" and your 15" on your tape measure would be.

Appreciated thank you
