Hi everyone. Just took my '00 100 to the shop for the regular maintanance / oil change to which I also requested the Toyota service to change my transmission oil, differential oil and A/T oil.

At 3pm, they called me to inform me that the ball joints needed replacement, some rubber seals on the steering rack showed some oil leaking as well as the seals to my transfer case.

They wanted to keep the 100 for 3 additional days for the extra work needed.
(The estimated cost for parts and labor is approx. USD 800)

My question is, does all that work require that much time? How serious is the transfer case problem? The oil isn't dripping, but there are traces of oil along the seal.

Thanks,
Chad
