14 bolt axle and Rims/Tires (1 Viewer)

14 bolt axle pulled from a 79 chev...believe it to be 4.11. good shape.

aluminum rims (rough shape) but would look good if sandblasted and painted black (what i was going to do before i decided to sell them). The tires are wild country tires, and i think they are around 31 inches. the rims are 16.5". one tire has a slice in it...junk. other tires have about 60-70% tread.

shipping is a killer for both, but is do-able. almost 250 for either the tires/rims or the axle.

8 bolt or 6 bolt and do you know how wide mounting surface to mounting surface?

Is the axle a full floater, or semi float?

Was it out of a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton? If 1 ton was it dual or single?

There should be a tag near the top of the pumpkin that will give gear ratio or you could count. Some 14 bolts were 4.56. It would also help if you knew if it was open or gov locked or other. What is the condition of the lube/innards?
