Well it's one of the CT20/CT26 family. You can just make out the casting number from your photos.

I'm no good at picking between the 20 and 26 but suspect it'll be a CT26 (which I accept will mean it's really a CT20 :crybaby:)
 
This was the original turbo that came with my truck. Mechanic told me to replace the turbo ...long story.

I kept this turbo in a warehouse unforunately that warehouse caught fire.

The turbo is jammed and I can't move the impeller freeley. Perhaps some forign object made its way into it. I don't know how to open it up but one of these days I will try fixing it myself.
 
Sometimes a turbo will lock itself solid just through being gummed up with old dirty oil. I had one of these.
Squirting a solvent like WD40 into the oil port freed it up enough to be easily dismantled and cleaned/checked.
 
Dougal I have already used WD40 and brake cleaner. Didn't help.

Damn.
Looks like it's toast and may need a LFH to dismantle (a LFH is a smaller version of the common BFH).
