Hi Guy's,
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 13B-T engine ( block series number 11411-58050 ).
I will be installing standard size main and con-rod bearings, but I have a few problems. Plus, there are two different sets of standard bearings.
1: On the con-rod bearings in the repair manual p. EM-82 ( if using standard bearings, select one having the color corresponding to the number on the bearing cap). The bearings and cap numbers don't match. Two bearings are color coded green and the other two are not. Here are the stamped numbers for the H-beam and cap. The top numbers are for the H-beam and the lower numbers are for the bearing caps. 1: 2/1, 2: 1/2, 3: 1/1, 4: 1/1. I tried switching the caps on con-rod #1 & 2 but no go. Can't get an accurate bearing thickness measurement with a mic because of bearing wear.
Should I go with the green coded bearings?
2: Same problem on the main bearings. Per the repair manual p. EM- 84 ( if using standard bearings, select one having the color corresponding to the number on the cylinder block ). The main bearings are not color coded, so that's out. Can't get an accurate bearing thickness measurement with a mic because of bearing wear, so that is out. Here are the numbers stamped on the block. 1, 2, 2, 2, 2.
How would you order these bearings, with number one bearing which is a different thickness ?
3: Is there a way to figure out the production date of this 13B-T engine ( block series number 11411-58050 ) buy Serial Number? There are four different cam bearing sets for the 13B-T series engines
4: Which bearings and rings should I use Toyota or ACL ?
5: Are the 3B and 13B-T crankshaft pulleys the same?
The one on my 13B-T is cracked. Does anyone have one for sale?
Any help will be appreciated. Please PM or E-mail me.
Thank You
