Long story (don't ask), but the short:

Rear, 77FJ40, brake hose that goes down to the axle housing.

1. Is that male end of the brake hose that screws into the "T" juction a M12X1?

2. Converted to SAE, that would be a TAD bigger than a 7/16, or .4375". Should be, since 12mm is .4724"

.51181" = 13mm
.50=1/2"

3. This conversion I am doing, my flex hose (assuming it is a M12X1) that male fitting is just a bit too small(going into the "T").

4. Should I go 1/2" or .50 (fine thread???)- since 1mm more than 12 would be .511" becuase going with a 7/16" would be even smaller than the 12, right?

Thanks,

Ragman
