Hi there I have an 87 hj 61 and over last 2 years I have had cold weather starting problems. I live in Canada and when the temp goes below
-15 or colder the truck will not start. When you turn the key the starter will crank but the lights on the dash will not light its like there is some kind of malfunction in the curcuits or wiriing and as it warms up to above -15 the system will start to function again and the heater lights and dash lights come on.
when I had the truck for its first winter back in 2004/2005 it would start at -24 which is really cold. I have poked around a bit but if anyone has some pointers that would be great. When its -15 outside you don't feel like taking things apart.
Thanks
