Hello diesel Cruiserheads,

Regarding a 12H-T swap into a US spec FJ-60...

I've heard from one person that the diesel should bolt right in to the existing 2F mounts. I know that the 12H-T does not use the two rear mounts on the 2F bellhousing, but the truck has the tanny crossmember so it doesn't matter.

I'm hoping for a consensus from the collective Mud brain pan on whether or not the diesel really will bolt in without cutting/replacing engine mounts. I know that there are Cruiser owners and shop owners that have done this conversion.

Thanks much!

Rosco,

Thanks for the reply. I saw this thread. Zander has a '62 with a 3FE engine. I believe the 3FE is a little different than a 2F.

are the motor mounts (the actual rubber part, not the frame attachment point) the same for a 2F vs. 2H vs. 12H-T ?

I haven't compared the rubber pucks side by side, but they do look pretty similar.
