Hello Cruiserheads. Would anyone please share an example of a VIN that represents a 105 series? Thank you !

Use eBay Australia or Gumtree, both should return 105s for sale. I pulled JTECB01JX01027050 the last time.

Probably you are aware but just to draw attention to the two common Australian “105’s”:

FZJ105 -- with 4.5 litre 6-cyl in-line petrol (gasoline) engine 1FZ-FE

HZJ105 – with 4.2 litre 6-cyl in-line diesel engine 1HZ (non-turbo but an after-market turbo was sometimes fitted)

If Partsouq has it right, then:

VIN: JTECB01JX01027050 is a HZJ105R (Right Hand Drive) diesel version -- full model designation HZJ105R-GCMRSQ

VIN: JT711UJA509016258 is a FZJ105R (Right Hand Drive) petrol (gasoline) version -- full model designation FZJ105R-GNPNKQ.

As best my ancient memory recalls, the 4.2 litre 1HD-FTE 6-cyl in-line turbo-diesel engine and the 4.7-litre 2UZ-FE V8 petrol (gasoline) engine were not factory-fitted on a 105’s delivered in Australia.
