Ok, really though the wing on the back of yours looks a lot bigger than the one on my 06. Is it a year model difference or aftermarket?

I'm honestly not sure. It came with the truck. It's been suggested it may be aftermarket. The way the light unit fits in there is definitely not Lexus factory.

Thanks! Sure did - haven't put them on yet though. Right now just M8 bolts with silicone. I need to clean where the racks used to mount first.... So nasty.

Took mine off almost 2 years ago. Very happy with the results, although sometimes I think an awning would be nice. I wonder if it would be possible to make something like a Rackless mount that bolts in without drilling and has a quick disconnect.

First post in the forum, may as well be a pic of my newly acquired ‘99! I’m loving the slicktop, but I do need to buy the rubber stripping to cover the holes up.

Also, it makes me chuckle that one of the two vehicles in the second pic has a locking rear diff, and it’s not the Lexus

I haven't had the rubber covers on mine as long as I've had the rack deleted. I just stuffed the holes with caulk and installed the original bolts. No issues in 7ish years that I'm aware of.
