STEEL OFF ROAD WINCH BUMPER
Details/Pros
-1/8" plate for outer shell.
-1/2" thick winch plate that mounts to the tow hooks, and frame horns.
-DOM tubing for grill guard.
-Fits a compact winch (engo 12,000 or similar with 10" x 4.5" mounting holes.
The winch plate has holes for the factory tow hooks to work just like from the factory.
-27 watt fog lights and factory wiring harness adapters included so the lights work on your factory fog switch.
-D ring shackle mounts allow 3/4" d rings and are welded to the outer shell/plate of the bumper and also welded to the 1/2" thick winch plate.
-Painted with truck bed liner (not a real heavy texture). It covered very evenly and hardened as desired.
CONS because I am human and this is my first bumper for a Land Cruiser 100.
-If you have a pristine 100 and expect flawless additions to your 100, do not purchase this bumper. It is way cool, but isn't perfect.
-The cnc plasma had difficulties cutting the 1/2" thick winch plate, so I cut those holes with a hand torch and they aren't perfect).
-fog light mounting tabs are heavy steel nuts. The mounting tabs don't look pretty (actually looks ugly) but is functional for these lights.
-The fair lead angle is steep/tight for the the cable to pass through. I am using a steel hawse fair lead, but you could use a roller as well (same mounting holes). It definitely works for me with a hawse fairlead, but if I was winching every weekend I would use a roller.
-It is not powdercoated, and this bedliner is probably going to chip off the back from rock chips.
-The bumper visually has an opening on the sides where you can see the washer bottle on the drivers side. With the steep approach angle of this bumper I am unable to cap it well.
Winch not included
Fairlead not included.
D rings not included.
Installation: Grinding your factory bumper mounts off is necessary for installation, as well as drilling 4 holes.
I used a cnc plasma to cut most of the pieces, so the outer cuts are very clean. Structurally it is going to be extremely strong. It just isn't manufactured by a professional company that builds multiple bumpers so there are some flaws.
I will be able to bring to Northern Colorado February 29th.
I will try and have a couple more bumpers for sale this spring, probably with or without grill guard tubing.
Make an offer if it is worth less to you.
