We should have some nice updates for you guys in the next few days for the headers we have been working on. What I can tell you so far is....

* Runners will be 1 5/8" OD
* Thick stainless steel flanges
* They will work with a factory exhaust, EMSPowered exhaust, or any other that terminates in the stock locations
* Runner lengths tuned for power/torque increase across the entire power band
* Designed for the 1998-2005 Land Cruiser and LX470


I will have more details, updates, and photos for you guys in the next few days.

UPDATE:

The layout of these headers is different from what the 100-series guys are used to. They are long tube headers which will net more power and torque gain. These header sets WILL work with the factory exhaust, EMSPowered cat-back exhaust, or the DT cat-back exhaust. These headers will use a specific mid-pipe which will be included with the purchase of the headers (not compatible with the stock mid-pipe or stock replacement mid-pipe). For anyone who has already purchased the EMSPowered high flow mid-pipes and wishes to purchase a set of EMSPowered headers we will have a buy-back program setup for you so that you don't take much of a loss on the mid-pipes you've already purchased. The headers are available for the 1998-2005 model Land Cruiser and LX470.


Update (3/9/2013):
Pricing for the EMSPowered Performance Headers for the 100-series Land Cruiser and LX470 have been set.

Each set will include:
* Right bank tuned header
* Left bank tuned header
* Both left and right side mid-pipes
* Clamps, hardware, and gaskets
* Optional single high-flow catalytic converter build into the mid-pipes. (one cat per side, two cats total)
* Installation instructions

Materials and construction:
* The headers are constructed of mandrel bent 304 stainless steel piping
* Thick wall 13 gauge is used in this application for extra strength
* All flanges are thick 304 stainless steel
* All clamps and hardware are stainless steel

Notes:
* EMSPowered headers were designed for anyone that wants the maximum amount of power gains from a header upgrade that is possible
* EMSPowered headers replace your factory headers and your factory mid-pipes (or EMSPowered mid-pipes). The headers come with a different style mid-pipe that bolts directly do your cat-back exhaust system, or factory exhaust system
* EMSPowered headers / mid-pipes will work with your factory exhaust, EMSPowered cat-back exhaust, or DT cat-back exhaust


Price for EMSPowered Performance Header Kit: $850

Availability and ordering: These are in the production and manufacturing phase right now and should be available to start shipping some time in the next several weeks. As we get closer to having them ready to go I will update you guys so that you can plan accordingly.

Were you able to make the runners equal length and still fit without any other modifications?

These are for the 1998-2005 only. We will take a look at the 2006-2007 soon.

I have not installed my CAT back and mid pipe because I've been waiting to see about your headers. Will I be able to send my un-used mid pipes back for credit on the headers?

Looks very interesting, glad I waited to make my header selection.

It's just depressing having to stare at all the shiny SS I have laying around my garage!

Go ahead and install the catback exhaust, Les. There is no change to the catback exhaust system.
 
Can you give us an estimate on pricing?
Also, might there be any significant changes to gas milage? (assuming you drive the same way) :)
 
I am looking for headers. If the price is good, ill buy it for friends aswell. I recently bought ganador exhaust. Haven't fit yet. Will it be compatible.

If your Ganador exhaust system fits with the stock mid-pipes, then yes, it will work with our headers as well.

Thanks for the reply. I told my person to get me a complete exhaust from headers till tail pipe but just noticed that its after catylic convertor. That doesn't make much sense as half of the piping (from headers till cat pipes) it's still stock and restricted. I'm looking to buy headers as well as free flow cats. Do u have them as well?

Btw thanks for workin on LC performance parts and making these boring rides , thrilling.
 
SaadUK are you in the US? Just wondering as if you are not and have a right hand drive model the headers might not work - I don't know for a fact just saying it might be an issue.

Saad, I am guessing that your truck is right hand drive. The left side EMSPowered header will fit your vehicle, but the right side header I am not 100% sure. It depends on where the steering column lines up on the right hand drive truck you have. If you'd like to test them out, we can sell and ship you a set and if they don't fit we will pay return shipping to get it back to us.
 
The new EMSPowered Performance Headers should be ready to ship in about 6-9 weeks. Design, layout, and prototype work is complete. We are working on manufacturing details right now. We will start taking pre-orders soon.
