Interested in the wheels but don't know much about the corrosion issues that these are known for. Is it a simple sand and paint, or does it go beyond that?

@CBB Best practice is bead blast and then paint or powder coat. Yes, this is surface corrosion and the paint peels off. Happened on 1000s of Toyota's and Lexus in 2003 and 2004.
