Wanted: LX470 wood grain steering wheel (and wood grain gear shift if available). I currently have a 1998 LX470 with a battered leather steering wheel but through a little bit of research I believe I can install a wood grain steering wheel from later years.

Just sharing, I fitted an RX330 wheel to my LX, so you can use other Lexus model steering wheels. I believe the splines are pretty standard throughout Toyota. One of the comments on this thread mentions a Supra wheel on a LC:

Fitted a 2003 RX330 steering wheel in my 1999 LX470. The leather on my steering wheel was gone and the steering wheel was nice and sticky. There had been some nice RX330s showing up in my local junkyard so I grabbed a half decent steering wheel for $25 and tried it out. Worked perfectly...

I have this one. Practically new. P/N: 4511 50101 E0 which says is for a 99-2000 LS400. Bought if for my 80, but did not fit without modification. I would think it would bolt up on '98--'02's 100's...
