Hey guys.

I've got a 98 lc and I'm about to install a set of Doug Thorley headers on it.

If there's anybody that's done it that can help me out- do I need to extend the O2 sensors that meet up with the manifold?

Thanks,
James

Hi there, I managed without extending the O2 sensor wires, but it was a tight fit. The wires seemed too short. I disconnected the O2 sensor wire, wrenched it into the header port, and then reconnected the wire.

Thanks for the info brother. I knew it would be tight but I figured it would fit and just wanted to make sure before I started the project.

Thanks again man.

Good luck. It's a bit of a project to get the headers on, but it makes for a noticeable improvement. Make sure to follow the advice of jacking up the engine a few inches (loosening the engine mount bolts). That gives you so much more room to work in. Just be cautious when you do.
