My ladies 02 rig only came with a single master key. I purchased a new key fob from car remotes.com and took it to a local shop today to get it cut, flashed and lock/unlock & panic buttons programmed to the car. He was crazy helpful and asked if I wanted to watch since I seemed interested which I did.
In order to get it into program mode one of the first steps is to lock and unlock the doors five times with the button on the door. Ours will only unlock and lock twice ( no matter if the key is in the ignition or not, whether it’s running or not) and then acts like its dead. He was cool enough to cut it and flash it for $25 to at least give me a spare that can start it but I'd like to get the capability lock and unlock remotely.
Has anyone had of this before? Any ideas on where to start looking? thx K
