i have outfitted the GHOST with a NOS OEM QUAD-HORNS set up ,

you can ONLY ever upgrade to 4 horns on any vintage toyota due to fused circuit specs and wire gauge ...........

i installed the 2 NOS units in this OLD promo TECH video .......

i then install the other 2 : NOS 1978 FJ55 LOW TONE matching part numbers

- all horns are DIAPHRAM TONE HORNS

- 3 LOW's / 1 HIGH

it has the TONE of a Fright Trane Locomotive CSX GP35 Main Line ENGINE

@Spike Strip

QUAD DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE TEq DENSO HORNS Part II :D 🍻 🍻

Just a beautiful vehicle!

During the last few weeks I scooped up what I would consider my OEM-DREAM-Wheels / Rims

The 16” 70 Series wagons ..

- I have settled on the final details I think 🤔

- OEM CHROME solid achorns closed cap lug nuts

- NO rear center caps due to my full floating axle , gonna Jazz that up , the outer HUBS with BLiNG outer assy. Hardware when start the SNOW-VERSON rear differential replacement due to the current one exploding while driving it less then 30 miles my first 72 hours of ownership ….

That’s a story and the both rear aftermarket aluminum rims coming off too for a different time …

I simply am happy to be still alive honestly 😇

I am currently researching the whole how big or close can I get to a 33” tall BFG all terrains or mud terrains. Based on the factory wheel width of x6JJ ?

I don’t want to exceed the safety limits and have a bead pop on or off road and well die ?

Not yet anyway …

Too Many NLA / Disc. OEM part numbers to be reproducing and the list gets ever longer day by day it seams …..🤔

I love those wheels. Have them on mine too!

while my main focus now on GHOST is the full flaoting rear axle stand alone TECH thread , i scooped up these over the holidays from Northern Europe non-usa far away TOYOTA place ......

i have in no uncertain terms wanted these and waited for these style and PURE YELLOW JDM GLASS KOITO's my entire life since first seeing them in a grainy color SOR.com paper print media what ever flyer or mailer of the week back in the day ...

i have no clue what part # these are but that will not last for long .....

but who really cares ?

all that matters to me is there FULL on Skunk-Works transformation and restoration is underway now as we speak

and i hope to have the worlds first set of PURE YELLOW OPTION GLASS JDM Kustom KOITo LED .

i will be shooting for the approx. 4000K range , but not sure if installing a 8000K or a pure yellow 4000K DIODES set up /

bulbs which one will best achieve the most color temperature lumens im looking for ?

there are 2 variations of this realm of KOITo's i am aware or a more common AMBER 'ish variety , who's glass has almost a orange'y maple syrup color tone , then my PURE JDM variety ,

the JDM PURE YELLOW color KOITo JIS Glass is far more un-common for some reason , and not something i see often at all ?

maybe that's why i wanted so badly for so long ?

maybe it was and no long is / are a MUST HAVE for me ?

i can't believe i just said that publicly 😆

well it's true , i must have things too once in a while , so that makes me a " MUST HAVE " that Must Have , his must

haves
like all the other " MUST HAVES " here on MUD , like @devo , the most must have , MUST HAVE i know ...

here are some initial R&D images , prior to full on disassembly , this is a PURE YELLOW LED kit / bulb installed ....fyi

i have not tried the 8000K approach yet , but i fear a white HOT SPOT effect , so we shall see there ?
