1" lift --> ABS light. Adjust LSPV?

Howdy, all.

Last night I installed the OME 861-861 setup ("stock height" springs) on the 93 LC. The net result after settling in was right at a 1" lift. Since I wrapped up at 2:30 this morning :wrench: I didn't get the chance to test drive before hitting the sack.

This morning on my daily kiddo run my ABS light stayed on the whole time. I do think I felt the rear brakes engage more noticeably, but I may have been imagining things since I know the LSPV adjustment is an issue on higher lifts.

Since the ABS was acting normally before the spring installation, and since I didn't disconnect any of the brake components last night, it is possible that the 1" net lift is just enough to make me need to lower the LSPV, or is it more likely that something else is going on?

Well, still no luck. I checked the ABS sensors at all four corners but all seemed to be connected. Any other ideas, guys?
 
Broken abs wire which was damaged during suspension mods. Sometimes the wire gets stretched, sometimes the area near the spring perch gets pinched when prying on the spring.

Best bet is to do the abs diagnostic to find out which corner is broken, then closely inspect the wire at that corner.

That seems very reasonable. I have a 1996 FSM and will check the procedure in there, but my rig is a 1993. Anything substantially different between 1993 and 1996 in that diagnostic I should be aware of?

Since your reservoir is full then this is very likely an ABS wiring issue, as noted above. Not the LSPV. Good advise above.
