I just want to get your opinion about the above truck. It has 360,000km(imported from europe) and he wants $11,900.00

I did'nt see the condition of the truck yet(only in the pictures),but it's a left hand drive(unlike japanese)..suitable for U.S. and Canada.

It's auto with lockers.The hood paint is kinda vandalized.What can u say about the price with regards to odometer.My mechanic says it's a high click ans soon need a overhaul of the engine.This one is very rare in north america,and planning to buy it just in case..

If it has a good title and is in decent shape, go for it.
If you don't want it, let us know where to get it.

it will only need a complete overhaul if it has been poorly treated. my 1hz has 335,000 original km, when i bought it 1.5 years ago the only thing i did was have the injectors refurbished and a new timing belt put on. i push it hard too, 4 wheel drifting is common in my 80. if you cant see it in person get them to send a video of it starting and running and of the exhaust. it should start on the first turn of the motor. also expect to have to replace brake rotors and do a front axle rebuild.

what year is it btw?

i dont see any photos either so i cant say much on its value

yah, there is a blue HZJ80 for sale in Canada. the only one i know of with that kind of km and LHD.

Im on it! i thought you may have had a different version of the 1hz, like our holden red and blue motors.

hummm, how can i say this tactfully ...

it isn't worth the asking price, is that tactful?
to be fair, i love the barn doors, i love the base model design, i accept the LHD but not a big issue for me either way ...

have it inspected by someone you trust if you are thinking of purchasing it.
