I have a brand new 1/2 tub from Land Cruiser Heaven in Miami. Built in Columbia. I bought this new, mounted it to the front half of tub. Wouldn’t fit my body mount locations. So it is in brand new condition besides the Spot weld drill holes on front edge

Fits '79 and newer

Looks like it fits a 73. Floor is pre 1/79. Fuel fill opening that uses a door started 9/72. Opening in the left rear for a reverse light was 9/67-9/73. 10/69 was the start of side marker light lights. 9/72-9/73 is the model year for a 73. The support for a spare tire carrier is 1/75+. Either that is on the wrong side or hole for the reverse light is. 1/75-12/78 if reverse light hole is wrong.

That is on me.... I put the reverse/backup and clearance lights in exact location as my 71 thinking it was an exact match.... I was one of the first customers to let the guys at landcruiser heaven know that there are two different body mount positions depending on model year. Ultimately I took exact measurements and sent them down. They used these to build my 1/2 tub fit perfectly...... so I guess the 1/2 tub has incorrect light hole placement??

Now they offer pre and post 1979 1/2 tubs..... according to their website

Side clearance lights openings would be correct for 10/69+. The backup light while would be right for a 71 the braces by it wouldn't. 1/75 LHD spare tire moved from passenger side to driver side. 9/73 backup light was part of the rear tail lights not a separate light. While the 1/79+ still had the same look as the early 40s how it was assembled was quite different. The floor did not have the step down at the front. Fuel tank moved to under the tub. The floor was corrugated not flat with a few stamped ribs like yours.

The step down in the bed was the first thing I noticed too. GLWS
