Hi, I am searching for a 1/2 npt coolant temperature switch to activate relays for my contour electric fan. I am planning to install the switch on the water outlet where there is a 1/2 npt square plug , just under the mecanical thermostat, next to the temperature sending unit.
Anyone knows of a car model that would share the same thread for the switch and similar temperature?
I am running a 189F(88C) thermostat and I was planning to instal a 210 on , 190 off switch or something similar. Is 210 on too high?
I know there are some kits on ebay with the right thread and adjustable temperature but I don't want to go with this option. I live in canada, shipping from ebay usualy takes 2-3 weeks and I think I can do something cheaper and more reliable, no need for adjustment, simple. All I need to do is find the right switch.
