Hi to everyone:
I'm hoping to locate someone who has knowledge or experience installing an OME suspension lift and at least 33" tires on a late model Cruiser. Being unable to get one without the hydraulic self leveling suspension, I will need to remove and or disconnect this system in order to install the OME lift. I have heard this is possible and has been done, but it was on a 2000 model. Concerns relating to new 100 series models and not knowing for sure if Toyota has made any changes to the overall system, thus complicating or even making this modification impossible is the worry. Also a concern about larger then 265 or 285 series tires is a question, weather or not the ABS or other computer controlled system will complicate this change. So, if anyone has a handle on these concerns I'd REALLY appreciate hearing from you! Thanks very much, Mike

Hello and Welcome!

Start here if you havent already done so: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=60848

My 06' LC has had a 2.25" lift and 275/70R18 Cooper Discoverer S/T (33.6") with the AHC sensor adjustment since ther were only 1600 miles on the truck. I've only adjusted the torsion bars in the front to accomodate and ARB and winch and had the local Lexus dealer bring the AHC system persures closer to spec with the adjustment. I have 80 series rear springs sitting in the garage if I finally re-order the Slee rear bumper and move to 35"s. 20k on the clock now and no adverse effects from this setup so far.

hey kneel which lexus place did the work for ya? mine down here was not very receptive to any mods?

DiFeo in Bridgewater. They were hesitant as well, but after speaking to the master tech and explaining exactly what needed to be done they had no problem.

I decided to pay the extra for Lexus service instead of Toyota at the time as I figured they had a little more "wrench time" on the AHC system. Something to keep in mind...

I wouldn't trust a toyota dealer working on LC's AHC, either. Many of the techs have never seen AHC. I read some stories that the techs believed you could put brake fluid in the AHC resevoir...a recipe for sure AHC failure.
