It’s been a minute since I’ve done any restoration work but the time has come to get busy on my next project!
It’s a 77 40 series in 653 Olive! (What’s new? ;))
After long consideration, I’ve decided to press the “easy” button and purchase a 1/2 tub from Topnault @ 3k. About 3.5k with...
I was looking at different materials could be used as a floor mat for the tub.
I looked at the .5" horse stall mat.
Wondering what everyone else has used for this - if at all.

From what I can gather, the 74 will line up with all the frame mounts. I gather the holes will also line up with my oem seat brackets, tranny cover, roll bar. Is that correct?
The dash will be a little different as it doesn't have the seatbelt light and the defrost vent holes on each side...
Using a 69 Fj40 tub in my build.
Recently making repairs I had a bolt(press in stud) fall out of the tubs channel that's behind the seats, where the floor steps up.
Never seen it before, any thoughts on where/what it goes too?
I just took delivery of the complete tub, front fenders, hood, and windshield frame. I thought I would share some pictures of the tub and first impressions. The tub arrived bolted to a welded frame with the other parts inside of it. It was wrapped in cardboard. No shipping damage. I looked over...

I have a 1962 FJ40 tub with a soft top and every part you will need for this truck aside from seats and a steering box. No rust, newly rebuilt engine, some parts pictured are just spare parts I have for all my trucks, not necessarily with this deal. Facebook listing is attached below as an...
Looking for a few items for a few projects going. Pre 76 FJ40 tub, pre 76 doors, Fj45 frame/ bed. Whole project fj40 welcome as well.
Can travel a bit to pickup if necessary. Closer to FL the better. 😂
Hey gang, long shot here but looking for a tub (have doors, roof and barn doors) but both tubs I have are pretty bad. Looking for a repairable tub before I order one from China. I know it's a long shot, but this community surprises me each time. Looking for a later 1979-onwards tub.
Pickup...
New 75 series owner, any leads of a 75 1/2 cut would be appreciated.
Specifically looking for a section of sheet metal from under the window shield frame on the drivers side.
I have a center counsel tube with the CD changer and am looking to remove that and replace it with a plain black tub.
Please let me know if you have one that you are willing to part with. I'll take the whole center counsel arm rest if that's easier.
Thank you

Hello,
Does anyone know what these holes are for? This is a photo of the tub under the driver seat. Not sure what goes here. Any leads or info would be very much appreciated.
Has anyone used a 79 and newer floor pan in their older tub so the gas tank can go under the floor? Not concerned with the tank in the cab but to me it’s a cleaner look with it under the tub. Since I need to replace the whole floor pan I’m running through ideas.
Half-heartedly searching for a 70 series tub for a project. I have a 79 Series cab ready to go, but then I got a dog, and now I need a bigger cab (like a 70 series) to fit fido, or to build a kennel behind the 79 cab. Do you got something interensting that is salvagable? Maybe even a 74...
