It takes two hands to take the gas cap off, like a stuck pickle jar. I rebuilt the charcoal canister and cleaned the ball valve in there. And replaced the gas cap. You can hear air rush in when the cap is opened. Any thoughts?

I have a 4/72 FJ40 that now has a 5.7 SBC engine with a Holley Sniper 1. I have also included a picture of the fuel original tank. The engine starts and idles fine, but as soon as I drive the vehicle, it acts like its fuel starved.
There is no fuel supply port on the bottom of the tank other...
Did a search and couldn't find anything, but once I find out if my factory tank is salvageable my next puzzle peice is the fuel pump. Really looking at running the tanks Inc GPA-2 pump and plumbing AN-6 line up to the filter. Can anyone confirm that pump is close to the depth of the factory pump...
Hi. I am a new FJ40 owner. I removed my gas tank to deal with some light rust and am wondering about the holes. Are these supposed to be left open? Won’t water splash in and promote more rust?
Thanks!

Asking about half of new, $600. Done by a local reputable shop where @Wadesters takes his restoration level tanks to get refinished.
I can assist with delivery throughout the southeast.
Was parked in my apartment's parking garage but it's not secure whatsoever and located right off the street. Previously had a CAT cut halfway out before they got spotted and ran away, hopefully ya'll don't have my luck.

Hey Everyone,
I reside here in the UK so my parts access is a bit limited, but I don't mind doing some "bespoke" work, aftermarket tanks all appear to be a minimum of 4 month wait around here in the EU or no restock in sight. With luck I found a vendor who has a single Ironman4x4 long range...

I have previously posted my issue with my gas tank. Instead of repairing the rusty tank, I got a used one that was not leaking and the inside looked good through a scope.
I decided to use the por's tank liner and all came out nice, looked real good through the scope.
I installed the tank...
I need to drop the fuel tank on my 1994 kzj70 3.0L and was wandering if there was a technique to doing so? Is there an inspection hatch above it from the boot to dissconnect things before dropping it? Thanks very much!
Just curious as to why my sub tank fuel solenoid is set up like this. It has two one isn't connected to any lines but is wired up. The second one has lines feeding into it and is also wired up. Not only that but on of the lines coming from the main tank is pinched closed. Wtf was going through...
No leaks. I pulled this out of an ‘81 about 15 years ago. $125 cash at the counter. No shipping; have someone local pick it up for you.
Only selling because I’m desperate for the shelf space.
