Hi, I am new to this forum and, though I am reasonably handy, I am new to vehicle diy in general, so please bear with me.
I have a 1999 Landcruiser Amazon. Right hand drive. Recently it has developed a problem whereby:
The fans (i.e. the warm/cold air blowers operated from the AC control...
i have read every thread and my heater is deleted and what not. but as I am putting my truck back together I am looking at what to do with my center console. is there a bracket of some sort for the backside to support where the heater used to be.
i prefer to keep the stock console I have...

Feel free to laugh me off Mud, but as I was sitting as a stop the other day I put my hand back where the rear heater was and it was a nice warm, quiet heat. I often camp in my rig and was thinking how nice it would be to have a source or internal heat that doesn't involve a diesel heater. I...
The following information applies to Left Hand Drive FJ80s with 3FE gasoline engines.
There is tons of information regarding the rear heater delete for the 1FZ guys. But not much for the 1991 and 1992 3FE trucks. Also, the heater valve is NLA from Toyota (87240-60070) for the 1991 to 1992 YM...
Switch works, fan blows low or high depending on the switches on dash, problem the air is not hot, not even warm just cold or outside temp. Front heater works fine, what could cause this? I’m assuming the front and rear heaters share the same heater core? If not where is the heater core for the...
Did the T’s a year ago, but lately was questioning the rest of the system. I thought, heck I never used the rear heater in western Wa and I sure don’t now in southern NM. I ended up replacing 2 hoses and Bam, it’s done ! If you’re interested I ended up getting the hoses from Capo Valley Toyota...
Is there something supposed to be connected at the end of that tube? I did the PHH a while back but I cant remember. I’m not losing coolant or anything. Thank you
Heyyy ery body.
So I have a potential hook up for a batch of part number 87245-60420.
This is the heater hose that replaces the u-turn hose and fittings, which is used when bypassing the rear/floor heaters.
In the picture it is the red hose. It eliminates 3 hose clamps and leak points, and...
You read it, I’m replumbing the deleted rear heater, with the pipes and heater currently still in place. However, I have yet to find clear pictures of the firewall showing me where everything is supposed to go, I would graciously accept any crumbs someone has to offer. I also don’t know why it...

My guess is that replacement rear heater cores for the FJ60 are no more. Does anyone know a source to either buy one or has anyone had any luck having one repaired?
I get a few drops of coolant behind my rear drivers side tire when I do short low speed drives around town. I top up coolant once a month no more than a half pint. Hasn’t been much of a problem this summer but cool temps are coming. I took it to someone to check it out and under pressure the...

Any help would be appreciated.

Mudders,
I am searching for the heater lines that are under my car that go to the rear heater.
Mine rusted through and sprung a leak.
I know many folks delete this but my kids like the heat in the back and it has been more reliable than my front heater.
I need 87248 (87248-90A22), 87249A...
