I'm parting out a recently acquired FJ40 project it's a 77 with a build date of September 76. Stock third members 4.10 ratio. Axle housings have been cleaned, wire brushed, and painted. They look great. Front axle has brand new rotors, brake pads, and calipers, and also has new steel brake lines...
Unlocked FZJ80 landcruiser axles, complete with links and radius arms. Going a different route with my build. Will be digging them out of storage in a month or so but can do earlier if needed. Not looking to ship. $1,000
Working on getting my factor E-lockers in my 96 LX450 working reliably. I put all four wheels in the air so that I could visually confirm when the axles would lock and both front and rear lockers would lock after rotating them a bit.
Now when all four wheels are on the ground, the E-lockers...
Hi all,
Sorry if this was posted before.
I have an 97 FZJ80 with M/ Transmission. It is full option but unfortunately no OEM diff lockers.
I have a project, which is installing an OEM diff lock.
I found front and rear second hand axles with diff locks in good condition.
As far as I know, all...
Hey Ih8mud community. I recently purchased a ‘99 100 series in Texas. After driving it for a few days I realized both of my top CV boots on the front Axles are leaking. Took it to a shop and they tightened them down just for it to happen a few days later. The boots themselves are new and are not...

I have a set of complete FJ40 axles assemblies from my 1969. Springs and long shackles included. Drum brakes all four corners.
Axles spin freely.
No lockers.
Tires not included.
$400 for the pair.
So I no longer have a 40, but I still have this full-floating rear end with Nitro Chromoly Axles. I will probably be selling this thing locally, but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of the value. Thanks in advance for your input.
Edit for additional info: WMS to WMS= 54 3/4", Center of...
Want to ask you guys if anyone has installed these aftermarket high angle CV axles,
TRAKMOTIVE TO8043XTT CV Axle.
01 4Runner with King coilovers up front. The shaft looks much thicker than what I took off. These pictures were taken after I removed the CV axle from the hub. TIA
So after 3 years and countless hardcore wheeling trips on 39" tires my RCV both let go at the same time & both axles broke at the same place just inside the cage
The thing is that I was not even on a obstacle, there was no bouncing, hopping, shock load, nothing like that.
Just diff...

I'm having some work done to a 105, and I wanted to see what people thought about these axles. I'm being told they need rebuilt. It's way beyond my technical expertise, and I want a second opinion for some peace of mind before I pull the trigger.

Doing some research here and can’t find anything on this subject via search.
Early 60s, before the transmission spacer was added, have a shorter front driveshaft with a CV joint at the t-case end and a single u-joint at the diff. Later 60s with the transmission spacer have a longer “regular”...
Looking for a set of 80 series axles. Looking at putting a set under my 40. Closer to northwest Tn would be better but don’t mind shipping if the price is right. What’s out there.
2 axles, a FJZ 80 rear with disc conversion, full float 4.10, locking hubs, and air locker. FJ40 front with disc conversion, full float 4.10, locking hubs, and air locker.
Front and rear FZJ80 axles. Swapped elocker diffs to my 80. The front was disassembled as I was going to convert the housing but ended up cleaning up the elocker housing instead. The rear axle is a bit rusty and is the elocker housing so has the cutout for the locker motor. Front axle and both...
I'm not sure if this is new, but someone just shared it on a Facebook group.
