Propane needs more advance at idle, less higher up.

Was wondering if anyone has set up an HEI to do this with std weights, and if so what part no weights/springs/cam did you use.

I'm having a few problems with mine, and as they're not a common dissy here I'm having problems finding anyone with enough variation of parts to do some testing.

If I can get some p/nos, I can just order in, and mod slightly with a die grinder if reqd.

TIA.

Not sure if they ship worldwide or not but both Summit Racing and Jegs here in the States sell kits to recurve an HEI dizzy. They sell for less than $20US. You might check with them. Otherwise I have a set from Summit new in bag I'd be happy to send you for whatever they cost plus shipping. Otherwise you need lighter springs so the weights move quicker (at lower RPM) and you need to shorten the slots so they can't move as far. You might be able to find the springs at the parts store from another motor (even a Cruiser dizzy). Not sure what application to tell you otherwise.

HTH,
Nick Jennings
