I know all the reasons to throw them in the bushes.
I need someplace to put all the sleeping bags/cold weather clothes/ etc. Alot of light bulky stuff. The fact that the rack will hold 100 pounds that should do for now.
I got motivated by Ty's thread and took off the rack, it was just dirty under the feet. So I made a rubber (sheet) gasket to go between the feet and the roof, cleaned the dirt and put on the gaskets. It looks good, should work.
Just my 2 cents.
